"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Lamike,
Dont think I can pm yet....I think I have to have a minimum number of posts before it will let me do it. What is the name of your farm? I think I may have some friends who have purchased from you in Benton. They told me about a place in Haughton that also had ducks.

no Polish here either but hopefully you will find some -- come to the Expo March 12th West Monroe - might meet somebody who can help you out! louisianachickens.com for info on it.

Hey Julie did you get home OK w/the peas? I have to admit, I got tears in my eyes when you pulled out of the driveway & the others started calling for them! They sounded so sad!

Hey Terri, we made it home safe. Awwwwwww, the other peas missed the girls? I'm so sad to hear that. I know what you mean when you say you had tears in your eyes. I feel the same way when I sell my animals. The girls are in the aviary with the boys but are still in their cage. I gave them some water. Will probably release them into the large aviary in a couple of hours. I will be working in the chicken yard, so I will be able to keep an eye on their interaction. I'm sure they will be one happy family.

Thanks again Terri for allowing me to bring your girls home.

Hey Julie it was SO great to meet you - next time you stay longer, OK? and thank you for giving the girls a good home.

the lost one (Vishnu) came in at sunset & we opened the gate & in she went---- so we have all back safe & sound again.

Tomorrow we will finish the "coop" part of their pen & tomorrow night they all will be moved to their new permanent -- "Fort Knox" home -- Vishnu & White Spot & Romeo & D'artagnan.

Glad your girls are settling down; I know they will be happy with you & delighted to have mates of their own!

See you at the Expo!

lol BB --- wish I could be glad at 2 less mouths to feed -- except I have 7 more coming next week!! (of the chicken variety however, not peas)!

that he will be able to handle all the babies!! I got a friend that just hatched 11 for me last weekend! I'm supposed to be getting them sometimes soon. But those will def be outside by then. At least my broodies shouldn't be hatching till after I get back!! If he just makes sure they have food and water I'll take care of all the cleaning when I get back!!
