"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

It may very well have been or if they bought from Hilltop feed I supply most of theirs also
There is only 2 breeders for pure birds in this area and 1 closed down
Thats not really good for the general public but great for me

Hey Terri, we made it home safe. Awwwwwww, the other peas missed the girls? I'm so sad to hear that. I know what you mean when you say you had tears in your eyes. I feel the same way when I sell my animals. The girls are in the aviary with the boys but are still in their cage. I gave them some water. Will probably release them into the large aviary in a couple of hours. I will be working in the chicken yard, so I will be able to keep an eye on their interaction. I'm sure they will be one happy family.

Thanks again Terri for allowing me to bring your girls home.

Awe man......... Ya'll gonna make me have tears in my eyes!!

I was kinda sad when I sold some of mine... But man do you realize how much a difference 15 less birds eat??? Wowza!!

Terri, I'm really glad to see you found your babies a new home with someone you know you can trust!! And Julie well now she's gonna have lots & lots of babies... And really not like she's gonna notice 2 more birdies with her menagerie!!

And Julie just know I playing with you!! I pick on my hubby with your sig line ALL the time!! I just point and say I'm gonna be like HER someday and he just gives me the evil eye! It's so funny!!

Oh, I know you're playing. No problem at all. You can really pick on your hubby by planning a day to come out to SEE of my animals and THEN telling him that you REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna be like me. He will have a heart attack in the chicken yard once he sees wild kingdom in my yard. .

So great to finally meet you too. I must say, the girls are BEAUTIFUL!! WOW !!! VERY clean and VERY healthy girls. You do a great job with your animals. Glad that Vishnu came home and is safe and sound. Take it easy with that knee and finishing that coop.

Yesterday, when I let the girls out into the aviary, the boys had a 2 minute conversation on who was going to BOTH of the girls out. I guess they settled it because I haven't seen them squabble again. Those boys are something else.

ETA: Terri, did I read that correctly? You're getting 7 more next week???

I just had to post this pic. I was feeding and watering yesterday and when I opened the brooder door, this is what I saw. It was too funny. 3 chicks have hatched so far, waiting on some more to hatch. Will be a staggered hatch.

Here are a few pics that I took of the animals when I let them out of the chicken yard into the human yard today. Just a few pics here and there. These are not all of the animals.

Did ayone read what happened to michickenwrangler's husband? https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=5778128#p5778128

I know it's happened to others here recently,. but it's always more sad when there are such young children.

After I read it this morning,. I told DH to stop working and go fishing with our daughter and spend time with her. My Dad and I always planned to do a lot of fishing after he retired,. we never got the chance,. I miss him so much. I'm fixing DH his favorite dinner!
