WOW!  I love my birds, but that is way too many for me to handle!

No kidding! I just came home and counted every chicken on my property. I mean I counted everything big and small and I only came up with about 250ish give or take a couple. 650 is just crazy numbers for me to handle!

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. Thought you all might like to see this! My stepdad sent me this picture of an egg he picked from his white marans. That thing looks like a potato

I have no clue how the hen passed it, but the eggs on the bottom are large to extra large so that should give you an idea how big this thing was! He cracked it open expecting a double yolker, and guess what he found? ANOTHER EGG!!!! That's weird and crazy I recently read a story about it happening in China, but never expected to see it happen this close to home! How cool is that? (I'm sure the hen isn't as impressed as I am
