"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

got 12 or so and the others getting with it :)

WOW!!!!!!! CONGRATS !!!!!!!!!!! My girls are playing mean games with me. No eggs yet!!!!!!!!!!!! :hit They must know that I still have 9 goose eggs in the incubator and lock down is not until the 27th. So, I couldn't do anything with pea eggs right now anyway. :hit

I guess I should be patient and wait until the girls are ready. :hit

Tell your girls to text my girls and tell them to get with the program Mike !!!! :gig

Forgot to post pics of the new babies. The one on the left was a few days premature. It took him about 3 days to fully gain strength and stability. It took the egg days to absorb. I didn't think he would make it. I thought that he would be a special needs baby. His head was so small and he could not stand up and walk. I think one of the critters stepped on the egg or my egg breaking hen broke it open.

The other critters are my 3 1/2 month poults that are outside in the sand yard. These are the first turkeys of the year and some of those eggs that were refrigerated for 2 weeks. They are still ok.

Cute babies! I'm so glad your special baby made it! The poults are pretty - I like the red & white color.

Nothing from my pea girls either. They need to get with the program also!

Just a really quick post to let u all know today is a very sad day. I went out to feed to ducks this morning, and found 8 dead. If the two that are left, one is hurt badly. I patched her up best I could. Maybe she will make it. I have been hiding in the bedroom and bathroom so that my 2 1/2 year old wont see me. His Nana just came to take him to school. I don't know how I'm going to make it through the day right now.......
HUGS!! So sorry.

Great looking Turks! How old are they now? About 3 months? You always take such great pictures, too! I noticed the pink leg band. Is that the light one you hatched?

Thank you.

Yes, they are 3 1/2 months old. Believe it or not, the banned turkey is this fella........... Remember him....?????? That is curly fry twisted neck who was on death's door. He has recovered 100%.
