I know Chris -- kinda looked around for you & others (1 MSMagoo, sorry i missed you too)! for a couple minutes but we had to hit the road -- it took longer to get there than we thought -- two hour drive each way -- and I had to be at work so had to get the birds home & settled. We'll catch up at that next show! LSU sounds very doable for me!

NOLA Chicks - I LOVE the new babies!! They are too cute! The dimmer switch is an awesome idea... I will be using it in the near future. Also, I too believe in KARMA, and I can tell you that the dogs in question have not been seen... gee, I wonder what could have happened to them???

Kuntrygirl - CONGRATS on the new babies! I just love babies! ALL KINDS! Bertha looks pretty cool, and I know that the girls will be happy with it.




And in other news.... I purchased supplies to "beef up" security. Electric fencing & charger, chains & locks. I also have the incubator cranked up and ready to go.... I have some eggs on the way! I'm so excited!!

I've got some duck eggs (thank you to Grambysfarm) and a couple of goose eggs on the way, and hubby thinking about what kind of chickens he wants. I want some Ameraucanas. I usually get what I want, but we will see.

We got the AG center at the Baton Rouge campus at a VERY reasonable price. Chris Herzog made the arrangements and he is the President of our little club (I am on the BOD and the Webmaster): We are super excited about doing this! Right now we are hoping to do a double show and getting ready to contact the breed clubs to see if any of them want to do a show within a show.
