Same here...was just getting over a summer cold and then the weather changed. Now I'm sick again

Wow! Good to see ya up and moving around here Jeff! My son has had this mess for three weeks now. He's on an antibiotic, steroid, cough meds, and an inhaler. A lot to take for an eight year old.

We can't hardly plant anything either! We lost at least 1 fruit tree, probably 2, to overwatering, but we can't help it. Planted them in a low spot.

Raised beds are loving this though. The corn fields look great, and the grass at our house doesn't look brown for once. I wish it would stop for a while, but I'm glad compared to the drought we had.

Looks like an oil tank exploded.  Doesn't look like anything catastrophic though.  No reports of injuries, just evacuations of about 3 dozen homes until the fire burns itself out.

Its cold here AGAIN! welcome to La. huh 90* one day 45* the next LOL just as I was getting over a summer cold here comes the cold air and messes all that up again. I knew there was a reason I like it when its 95*/95% I'm never sick then just hot and sweaty LOL

I almost got my gardens/corn fields readied for planting if the rain holds off for a few more days I should have it in then it can do whatever (get hott and dry more than likely) huh? LOL

Here are my final results from my last goose hatch of the year. Stick a fork in me cause I'm done. :/

I thought I had 6 fertile eggs, but I only had 5. 4 of them hatched, 1 was not fertile and the other was fully developed but was dead inside the shell AND it's bottom area (intestines?) were out of the shell. It was weird. So, the hatch wasn't too bad. 4 out of 5 hatched.

Now on to pea eggs. I have 4 eggs as of last night. If I get 4 more in the next few days, then I will commence to incubating pea eggs.

My horse and dog have only just come to an understanding. My gsd is not nearly bright enough to not get herself stomped by a donkey and I don't think the cat would appreciate it much either. LOL.

And donkeys are very accurate when they aim. Lol. My dad always said, a horse will kick AT you but a donkey will hit his mark.

Yeah I know it I'm bout a week or more behind on everthing Sandy. Since I been sick with the cruds I just do get the chores done much less anything else(as in making money) which has got to get back in the making again things are getting tight and thin around here. I got more to do than two people should have to do much less work in between time. LOL hoping to get caught up on a bunch this weekend,

in between the coughing up lungs and harking lugeys and blowing boogies

(sick huh?) I know it. Havent got to enjoy a meal in a week I eat(have and appetite) but just can't taste nuthin' so I just live off memories of what I remember things used to taste as.
