Welcome back!!! Cute pea!!! As far as sexing you will begin to notice the size of the spurs and the back/wings. If the spurs start looking like "rooster" spurs, then you know you have a male. How old is the pea in the pic?
Hi, Mzstre!! We've missed you! Good to see you back!

Say hello to my bundles of joy (10 guinea keets) that surprised me when I got home from work. I think that this was the ultimate shocker of the year. I don't know where this mama was hiding her nest but wherever it was, it had to have been tucked away where no-one could see.
This madness has got to end. This is not funny nor cute any more. I'm miserable!

To the tune of "Green Acres", ready? a-one & a two:
"Fertile Acres is the place to be"
"Lots and lots of happy poul--te--ry"
"Ducks & peas spread out so far & wide"
"Julie wants to scream & run & hide"!
In my case it is the neighbour that racks up a bill like that. Unfortunally the directions say shut off for the last house on the street...well mine is the last one you can see but behind the trees at the end of the road and my pasture is another house. I wish they could keep just one person for the shut off so that I can teach them my address and quit with the shutoffs. BTW my house has the last six mailboxes for the street in front of it, I think this is where they get confused. I now look for them around the 20th with bill in hand (for address) and give directions to the neighbor for their proper shut off.
Ok. The broken up bench I found on the side of the road, I'm finished with it now and it's ready to go into the chicken yard.

This is how I found it.

I put it together.

I watched the paint dry while I read posts on BYC.

Ready for the chicken yard.
I will NOT let my granddaughter see that adorable piglet. She has been pushing hard for one. After the chickens she wanted more chickens ( done) , then she wanted 2 bunnies ( we are now 3 bunnies later). We can't get a pig or I would really have to sell my house and move to the country. Hmmmmmm.......
