Hi. know I haven't really posted lately but I am very excited about our new mini potbelly piglet we just picked out! She's not ready to come home yet, but here is a daily dose of adorable for you!

Good morning peeps.

I am so sad to report a very good friend of mine is dead. For the last 5 years, I have had a frog that would visit me every summer and spring and would camp out at my front door. He would usually show up around 7:30 PM and would leave out first thing in the morning. I'm not sure where he would go during the day but he always came back at night. He would leave for the winter and would always return when the weather began to warm up. Well last night, I left out to run an errand and returned home. This morning when I walked to my truck, I noticed that he was dead. I RAN OVER HIM AND I DIDN'T KNOW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He must have been sitting behind my tires when I left out and I ran over him. I didn't know he was there!!! He NEVER has camped out by my tire!!!!!! I was so hurt this morning when I saw him all smashed up. I am so upset at myself. I cried like a baby when I saw him. My day is ruined. For 5 years he came and left and came back to my front door. He survived all of this time just to go and get run over by me!!! I know it sounds silly to cry over a frog but I saw this frog for 5 years!!! It will not be the same when I don't see him by the door anymore.

Mr. Froggy will me missed. R.I.P My frog friend.

I am so sorry. I understand. I have Rainy the light green tree frog that comes to the glass panel on my bedroom door every night. My granddaughter noticed last weekend how faithful Rainy has been. So, I understand being sad over a frog. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry for your loss. It doesn't matther the size of the creature, sometimes we are blessed by the most unusual things.

A friend is a friend no matter what size. I am sorry for your loss. Animals know when they are going and will go somewhere else, I don't think you killed him, I think he was most likely on his way out and came to visit you one more time.

On Facebook, there is a forum called "Remembering Ann Reese". It is a tragic story, and Remembering Ann Reese has become a way for her mother to find peace. The family is moving today and Amy and her husband must find the strength to pack their daughter's room. I apologize if my next request offends someone, it is not my intent, but if you guys could say a prayer (or even offer a kind thought) for her family. I cannot even imagine their pain.

I will NOT let my granddaughter see that adorable piglet. She has been pushing hard for one. After the chickens she wanted more chickens ( done) , then she wanted 2 bunnies ( we are now 3 bunnies later). We can't get a pig or I would really have to sell my house and move to the country. Hmmmmmm.......

Moving to the country is great... a few animals cost you reducing neighbors...sounds like retirement. I thought about getting a pig for meat once and thought that I would get too attached, so I got chickens... my logic was way off! My chickens are now pampered princes and princesses, go figure!

That explanation makes me feel better knowing that was the reason. I'm glad that I know what happened to him instead of him not returning next year and then I would have worried day in and day out wondering what happened to him. I'm glad that he came to see me for the last and final time.
