"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Happy Sunday y'all! I had to search to find out who won last night. This sleepy girl crashed hallway through the game, lol. Geaux Tigers! We had a full day yesterday running around doing errands. I did get to spend a little time outside in the evening and had to photo what my bantams have done to part of my Bright Lights Swiss Chard! Crazy birds. Funny thing is.....we had just bought fencing at Lowes. Its going up this afternoon!

Good morning everyone, hope every one has a good weekend. I took Friday off and we r off Monday so I got a long weekend. Got my tiller working Friday. I bought one for $200 dollars from a guy at work that "ran" a month ago he said. Yea right! Took carb off soaked and re-kit it, runs great now. Got $250 in it now and it sales for $600 new. I'm happy. Ready to till the hole yard and plant lol..Got a load of dirt delivered yesterday so I leveled dirt all day. Think I'm gonna spend the rest of the weekend with the wife and daughter.

I use to have a lot of banana spiders around my house but come to think of it I haven't seen one in a while. Use to ride fourwheelers and run into there webs and I would freak out, swinging my arms everywhere.

I read this online somewhere online and thought it was neat idea. Coop in the middle, compost behind, and two chichen runs one on each side of the coop. Plant one side use otherwise as run then the following year swap sides.

Hi everyone, if I've missed any new eggs welcome to BYC.

My neighbor knows someone that was looking for Great pyrenees puppy. They couldn't find one they did get another dog. She said she thought they might be interested they were looking for a young dog or pup. She said she would contact them this weekend and let me know . I hope this works out!!!

Those spiders are all over the woods here in our area. I don't like spiders. I having full body shivers just thinking about them.

On a different subject www.wareaglemill.com has 20%off today. It's a old grist mill in ark. They have organic flower. Grains, etc. super fresh . The organic farms are all over ark. They also have gluten free . The sale code is SUMMER20. P
BTDT at the old mill. I had Brown beans(ours is called pintos here LOL) and rice and some cornbread made at the mill right on the spot. I sat an ate them right next to the mechanism as it ground away. Neat experience if any are ever going to Eureka Srpings area go on by War Eagle mill too and check it out they are in the same vicinity.

My big girls have always used the little nesting house to lay their eggs. Never an issue.

When the babies started growing up I got them their own sleeping coop and recently figured it' s getting to be time to prepare them for laying, so I put a nesting box in their coop.

See primrose and the other big girls stand in line to use the new box that's not even in their coop. I thought I had it all worked out: big girls in nesting house, little girls in nesting box in their coop. Silly me. I guess I'll just have to let them work it out. Lol. They obviously did not read my nesting memo. Lol

Lol! Too cute!
Least they'll lay in the box!
I have made almost a dozen diff nests/places for one hen to lay since she utterly flat out refuses to use the box all the other girls love (even at the same time lol) and yet she STILL lays "elsewhere" even if "elsewhere" was a regular spot, I'd totally be satisfied lol but alas, its a daily Easter egg hunt for my pink egg!

I love your setup! You know the saying, "the grass is always greener"...it must hold true to nesting boxes also.
