"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

An update on the fight to help my niece in Ohio keep her chickens. WE HAVE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sister is on the phone right now and the new ordinance has been modified to allow current owners to KEEP their goats, chickens, ducks, and other small farm animals.

A huge thank you to everyone that took the time to sign my petition on Change.org because it worked!!!!!!!!!!

Bahahaha ! Not sure if they will hatch?? Really?? Of course they will. Everything hatches at Fertile Acres. Lol

Congratulations on your bargains. Great going!!

Here are some old tiles. I am gong to try to set them in concrete to make a little patio on the chicken yard. Never did this before, but it should work.

This will not work!! We own a masonry company. You have to put the concrete slab down let it cure a day or so. then lay tile in thin set let harden then grout. Let me talk to Ron tomorrow to make sure I haven't missed a step. If you lay tile in concrete they will pop off and crack. You can also get spacers at home depot that will keep the tile grout lines even an straight their cheap. I'll post tomorrow if Ron says anything different. P

I am a solid surface installer and Ron skekel is correct....as the concrete dries, the tile will more than likely crack. If it doesn't right away and the concrete isn't isolated from the ground properly by a moisture and/or vapor barrier, it will build hydrostatic pressure and that may cause the tiles to pop off there and sound like a gun shot when it happens.
