"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

This will not work!! We own a masonry company. You have to put the concrete slab down let it cure a day or so. then lay tile in thin set let harden then grout. Let me talk to Ron tomorrow to make sure I haven't missed a step. If you lay tile in concrete they will pop off and crack. You can also get spacers at home depot that will keep the tile grout lines even an straight their cheap. I'll post tomorrow if Ron says anything different. P

Thanks. That makes sense. I recently had my kitchen floor redone and they popped up old tile, put thin set, left for a day and grouted. I was just thinking I could do a quick rough outdoorsy chicken yard job by framing the pad and putting in quick set concrete and embedding pieces of tile. I was going to break the tile and space them randomly.

An update on the fight to help my niece in Ohio keep her chickens. WE HAVE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sister is on the phone right now and the new ordinance has been modified to allow current owners to KEEP their goats, chickens, ducks, and other small farm animals.

A huge thank you to everyone that took the time to sign my petition on Change.org because it worked!!!!!!!!!!

Hooray!!!! That is so cool.

When you go, you need to go to BOTH!!  They are too close not to.
Another note, the stores are usually not in the best part of town.  It adds to the "flavor" of the experience.

I've been to both. LOVE Dirt Cheap. Kuntrygirl if you or any others on this thread want to go to Zachary or BR Dirt Cheap, let me know and I'll meet you there.

Ok, I sure will. That would be a great hangout day for all of us. :)

Wait, there's a "topic"? Lol
:welcome    Everyone here has been VERY helpful!!!  We tend to get "off topic" frequently, but we are VERY ENTERTAINING!!!   As I've said before, we are all "well medicated" and as long as "certain people" stay away from fire...(please read previous posts)...we have a great time!  Also, there are no "dumb questions", because I've asked them all already!!

I stopped by Dollar General yesterday, hoping for some of the great finds that Julie made. No such luck with the food items, however, I did find a small, hard plastic pool for my girls (chickens) for $2.00! I have been looking for one ever since they poked a hole in their inflatable. They love to walk around in the water when it's hot.

Good score on the pool !!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup I usually hunt around for pool sales as well when summer is over. I like to rack up on pools for the ducks and geese. Good job on the pool. ;)

I didn't realize how YUCKY canned soup is until yesterday. I had a coupon for a can of Progresso soup and I decided to cash in on it. That was the worst soup that I had every tasted in my life. I think I better stick to home made soup. I still get a bad taste in my mouth when I think about that crappy vegetable soup that I had yesterday. Are all canned soups this nasty? :sick
