On my Sebastopols, I have two eggs that have made it to lockdown. They are two days late, although, I really don't think they're late because the little experience I've had in hatching these geese is that they take longer than 28 days. I think that I need to start marking my calendar differently and give them an extra couple of days of turning before lockdown. Anyway, I candled them tonight and they are both moving in the egg. I noticed after I candled them that they are "rocking" the eggs. So, hopefully something will start happening soon. I have two more eggs that my gray goose is setting on that should hatch next week. These four eggs are all curly breasted. They should be gray curly males, OR, white or splash females. The colors in Sebastopols are sexlinked.

My other gosling is still doing fine. She will be gray saddleback. I'll try to get new pictures tomorrow.

Well I still don't know if these sussex will be white or coronation.. They are still chugging along..

My 30 eggs in the bator are doing their incubator thingie..

My little broody serama hen should be just about ready to hatch.. it's been 15 days, and she has done a really good job!!! I will move her to another cage shortly because I don't want to risk the others getting to the babies.

My 3 rouens .. WOW do they grow fast.. We got them the weekend of the event, and they are HUGE now. My Welsh Harlequin, and un determined duck are doing great.. growing like weeds.

I got my incubators ready for an egg shipment for the first of next week So once again I'll be over run by chickies, and duckies.

Nope - I'm still debating if I really want to hatch any more chicks right now or not! I'm really short on space right now & I increased the size of my garden so I know I'll be busy w/that shortly.

Very please with how my Blue Orps are coming along! Here's two of the girls- splash & dark blue -

We got a nice rain last night - that'll really make the garden POP! (& the grass & the mosquitoes, too)

Chickies!!!
We got 3 1/2 inches of rain last might. I am so glad my tomatoes were not out, they would have been beaten to death.
Where do I buy the food grade DE stuff for deep litter?

Their beautiful!! Oh yea on the rain, it stormed here!! Can't wait to see the garden in a couple of days! It's amazing the difference that the rain will make compared to just watering! I hear you on the room, I'm running out of it too!!
