2 of the little hens are taking turns on the nest. The little Americauna I got from Terri was on the nest all day. Now this evening the Silkie its evidently taking a turn. I wonder how this will end up working out.. ....

Lol! We brought our lop Henry inside last night while we rearranged his living arrangements.
He met our cat...we were nervous of the cat harming him at 1st, cats big, bunny is little...he chased that cat around the couch with zero fear trying to hump her! Then he caught her and attempted and she jumped to higher ground (fireplace mantle)! Omg we could hardly stop laughing, I had to video him taking off on hardwood floors with no traction trying to get some kitty!

I am not ready for winter yet!!! First thing, my feet hit that cold floor and all I wanted to do was crawl back into bed.

Yes I think I was a result of some GMO experiment gone bad I think I'm half reptilian the colder it gets the slower I move. I love hot and hate cold. Already dreading winter as I have gotten my first go around with sinus problems. I felt it coming on a week before the cold front got here. I knew it was coming before the weather man did. I'm a walking barometer, not in a good way either. I can sweat all day long but I can't do crap in the cold. The wind messes up my head and my thinker goes berserk. (worse than normal) LOL

this what my head feels like with every rapid heart beat today

and my ears sound like frying bacon along with the sound of a miniature jet airplane taking off from the runway under full throttle constantly.
It sucks, this happens every year when the weather changes. I'm going to have to learn to migrate with the seaons like the birds and stuff.

Good morning La-yers! BEAUTIFUL fall morning! Cool and not a single cloud in the sky! I’m sitting here at my desk wishing I had a hot butter biscuit with a piece of bacon in it. I don’t know what it is about cool mornings that makes me crave biscuits & bacon!

My boss is off today, lucky her – so I’m having a quiet work day (for a change). Think I’ll soak some beans tonight & fire up the crockpot tomorrow!

What's the bean recipe? Always looking for something new! I LOVE this time of year!!!

Do you guys know what will dig up a garden but not eat any of it? It's fenced and cross fenced so there is no chance of stray dogs and nothing even thought to look at the chickens. I went to water the garden and found about half of it dug up (from the top not below) and whatever dug it up spread and ripped up the root system on some of it but there is nothing eaten.
