"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Hi Everyone!!!

so far I've been to the farmers market . Those were plain, beet, hot wing, one other flavor I Can't remember. Next day went to huge southern craft guild art show. Lots of beautiful things . Today was

overcast so we went to town and flea market. They have a lot of old mason jars some clear with clear glass lids. Some say atlas, some Ball strong mason. some were blue glass with old metal lids. I like the ones with bubbles in the glass. They had Half gallon, pints,& quart sizes. I'm telling you this because I think some of you were collecting them. If any one is interested I'll get them for you. When I was looking at them a older gentlemen came and was looking at the bottoms. I asked him what the numbers on the bottom meant. He said ball made them in a series !-13 and the ones with 13 are worth 35 to 50 dollars. He said they were used by moonshiners and were broken so they are rare. So go check your jars!!! they cost from 8.50 to 19.99.

Then we went to town square and I found mason jars that had added solar panels to the old lid an made into garden lights. I was able to just buy the lid for the jar I bought.

I'm hoping tomorrow is sunny so I can go on the parkway and take pictures. Its so beautiful here. Have a great weekend.

I checked my handy dandy chart and it said raw was fine, so I fed mine the guts straight from the pumpkin and they ate it. I would rather not cook for my pets. Lol
I would like to see your chart

That's some awesome craftsmanship!
Every piece of the rocker has hand made. the moose antler on the side was a magazine holder. it was 5 kinds of wood. he hand striped the bark and wove it for the seating. Some of it was walnut ,red wood. an he handmade the nails so it looked like antique nails incredible.

The copper whirligig was all hand made too!! it was all master craftsmanship. some things were unbelievable. Pam
