Disclaimer: I have never dealt with this before.
I have read on some posts here that letting them walk a little bit in the house (if they want to) and feeding them a tiny bit of oil helps as well. I have never tried either before as I have not had this problem, it's just something I remember reading. I hope she drops it soon.
Still hoping for her here too!She is still alive. Still trying to pass the egg. She will eat yogurt sill not eating her feed. I'm going to try the heating pad as a heat treatment instead of the warm soak. I guess being in a box in my utility room and all the extra attention and warm baths has kept her going. I sure hope today is the day it comes out. Thank you to everyone for praying for us! Pam
Best of luck to you! I'm starting a batch tomorrow!
I’ve never done them before either, but a coworker was telling me her neighbor keeps them in an old bathtub filled halfway w/potting soil. She puts a tarp over it when it’s cold and in the spring has fresh strawberries. We have the old bathtub we used to water our horses in so I figured why not give it a try? I’m going to put about a dozen plants in there & see how it goes. I love strawberries!I know nothing about strawberries, but was thinking about starting with one plant. When is the planting and harvesting time? Do they do ok with frost or do you have to cover them?

This is the time of year you plant them. They'll fruit in the spring.
Good luck Pam. Thoughts and prayers your way. Thanks for the info will try everything within reason at this point. Pam
Exactly so, Pam - and last spring, I put up organic strawberry jam for Inglewood - and that was the BEST jam I've ever made! only 1 jar left now. I am hopefully going to double that amound next year! Thanks Terri for pulling for us. One tip about strawberries they are on the top of the list of fruit that has the most pesticides. Growing your own you can do organic or keep the pesticide to a minimum. Pam
Good luck Pam. Thoughts and prayers your way.
Good Luck! Are those blue eggs Legbars?
