"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

One of my hubbys favorite things is me next to him reading in bed. He says he likes to hear the pages turn and know I'm curled up n cozy next to him. This makes me warm inside, lol I look forward to new reads :) If he sees me getting close to the end he'll pick up a new book...

I totally agree that a granddaughter would Love one as a gift! Technology that let's her emerse herself in the world of books AND still be cool? Heck ya.
With a solid book, that piece of work will still be on my shelf in 10+ years from now. Maybe something goes wrong and you spill some coffee - you only lose the one book with a real book. With something like a Nook you pay just as much and are at the whim of technology for your entire collection. Machine breaks- gone. someone stills that one thing - all gone. Plus you know that it will easily be outdated and maybe nonfunctional in 10+ years. Yeah, you can download it again.... while its available for download. Databases shift. Things get removed or shut down. Battery dies? You can't read. Maybe if the virtual copies were way cheaper, but I can't bring myself to pay the same amount when I can get a hard-copy.

Chap stick shampoo any bathroom item even books I sent paperback books got them from a store that's sold all ready read books. or ask friends to donate their older paper backs. And this Army momma would like to also thank you

If your loved one is deployed I would love to send one of the care packages. P M me the address if you would like them to have one. Pam

Wow, its been quiet here. Hope everyone and their peeps are doing well. It is incredibly nice to have these warmer temperatures!! The babies had a grand adventure yesterday running about and scratching in the warm sunlight. It was the first time that Mom wasn't worried if they all stayed by her side. They separated a few times, and for the most part they were all cool with it. We can't help but just sit and watch their antics for awhile. I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday!

We aren't getting these, I don't want to spend the $, hi by is a DIY-er...we have our own going but figured just in case someone was looking :).
I got their composer a few years ago and it was awful. I'm going to throw it away. But it looks like this is different, so I'll go and check it out. Also will pick up some mulch. Thanks!!! It really is a super deal.

If you have a weak stomach, skip this post. My kitty a couple of weeks ago had a weeping eye. It looked bad. We have a neighborhood vet that makes house calls. She saw it and gave me some medicine. It really didn't get better. Now it seems I will have to have the eye removed. I feel so sorry for my kitty. He is very shy and will be terrified to go to a vet and be handled by strangers. I can't imagine what happened to his eye. The vet said something scratched it.

My "street dog" Millie had an eye that looked worse than that when she "found" us. We were able to save her eye. Think positive.
