"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

It itches and I am really bad about scratching. My mother still smacks my hands every time I am near her and she catches me scratching. Tried just about everything the Dr suggested, just pain, little to no help on the problem. I never thought about mixing it with aloe. Does it not neutralize the acv? Come to think about it, my mom used to put aloe on me a lot when I was young, I always thought it was because of sunburns. She doesn't use it anymore, I'll have to ask why.

Google fresh raw aloe. Ron and I both drink it if we have any kind of digestive issues. you have to get a cold process inner leaf brand{no whole leaf that includes the peel, outer leaf} Lakewood organic is what we like you can use on skin or drink it. Ron could eat a pack of Rolaids with no relief. A tablespoon or two of this aloe cures any digestive issue.
All the products for psoriasis have Manuka and Helichrysum essential oils in them. They have other oils and extracts but these two are in every product. Pam

Thank you, I'll have to get us started on it. She has huge acid reflux from the meds she takes. She says that she used to mix my cream and a little peppermint oil in the aloe until I started to have low bp. I think that was mostly because of my thyroid dumping out on me then. If you or lemon want to make that soap I would gladly try some. I haven't tried acv in a soap form, only a body wash and soaked in a rag and rested on the skin.

I know you have a lot of chickens, but is there a certain breed that you have more of? Or a favorite? We need to have a field trip to your place! The setup looks pretty neat.

Thanks

I have more of the Rhode Island Reds and New Hampshire Reds. I don't have favorites so to speak. If they lay brown eggs, then I'll have as many as I can. I"m not a fan of white egg layers. My customers don't like white eggs. They only want brown eggs. When customers come a calling, they are not interested in fancy breeds or anything like that. They also want brown egg layers and dual purpose birds. So, I cater to them because at the end of the day, it's what they want and what the customers in my area request. I have a lot of requests for 2014 for brown egg layers so my customers can put a lot of chickens out in their chicken yard. I"m going to be busy. :/

Rhode Island Reds
*Best of breeds for producing brown eggs.
*Dual Purpose
*infrequent brooder; can be dutiful mother
*moderately early maturing
*well adaptable to confinement or free range; active, calm & fairly docile, can be aggressive (cocks are especially notorious)
*egg productivity is above average.

I am glad to hear this!  I really think that in our house.....moving away from the commercial detergent type soaps has been a really good thing for all of us!

buggles I get most of mine from soaping supply companies.  Some oils from the grocery store and Sams Club.  Specialty items I HAVE to get from soaping supplies.  Like Fragrance Oils. Its only my one daughter that can't use the FO so we make plenty of soap with different fragrances in them.  One of my favorite is a dupe of BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom!  Delicious!

Check out Soaping 101 classroom on youtube.

I'm glad that I don't have to make any. :lau I just place an order and it appears in my mail box. I'm so lucky!!!:D

I don't currently have an ACV soap formula. I do have quite a few others that are in the works though. When I make a new formula I keep it in testing for quite awhile to be sure that there are no "surprises" that are not desired. I do know that there are other soapers that have customers that like acv soap though. I develop all my own formulas so I would have to study up on it. I don't know why. But I have an aversion to exactly copying others in most aspects of my life. But if its a good thing, its a good thing. Some things cannot be denied and should instead be incorporated into what I do. The first soap that we formulated for my daughter has aloe liquid as well as other great stuff. We haven't sold it yet though because it was not made in the correct mold for the look that I truly like

. She likes it, but has move away from it to the Honeyed Ale because she really likes the scent of the EOs and another one that has the same scent, but has charcoal in it. She says she likes it for her face. Not me though! Lol!

I am NOT looking forward to the cooler temps coming. But I am bracing for impact! I have been very grateful for the warmth.

Thanks

So do you personally eat these? Since they are a dual purpose. I am a fan of the multi-colored egg rainbow :)

I am the same with baking. I try the recipe once to see what they are talking about (unless I see someone else making it), then throw it out the window and do my own. I only want 2 days of cold. The last cold snap proved that the heaters that my renters have for their trailers are useless now. They worked for many years but because I bought them all at once they all failed about the same time. No one uses the furnace. I found a boat load of $500+ heaters for $49 each on Black Friday and need to test them out before I can't return them. I don't care for the cold myself and hope we don't get snow this year.

That perfectly describes my Primrose. She's a RIR. She is the tamest and you can pick her up anytime. But if she's in the mood, she has a mean peck!! I thought of you: I bought some medical shoe covers at a garage sale for $.25.

Ah!!! The dreaded "S" word!!!

I heard an advertisement on the radio from a jeweler that anything you buy between now and Christmas would be free if we got a 1/2 inch of snow on some specific day. Now wouldn't they be bummed out if that happened!!!
