Also I think pretty much everyone knows that every house out here is accompanied by at least one large gun and one person not afraid to use it.....
Good to hear that, after I move I hope to get a big dog, one I do not have to take care of. I would like an American bull dog, the Nanny Dog and cattle dog. I am in the city, but roosters in the country side have been stolen (and chickens). Coyotes, skunks, all cats (mountain lion, bobcats, house cats) and owls normally have problems using wire cutters, and snapping pad locks. I usually live in the country side.
Not much of a city person, despite growing up in the city. My dad said I was a throwback, instinctively country. I know how to do things I have never beed thought. No one in my family had guns, but me.
I ended up in the city because my mother did not want me to go back to Florida or someplace in between. So she bought a house for me as a surprise, putting down the exact amount I had in the bank. In less then 24 hrs. I was really broke, and owned a home. And I had just gotten a job as well that day. I had to make a decide if I was going to refuse the house, I accepted it, and was great full I had found a job, to make the payments.
Mom was afraid of me living in the country. She dose not realize I am safer there. We took care of each other. When I stayed home from work (I worked 6.5 days a week as a mate on a fishing boat), all my neighbors stopped to see if I was alright. My car hadn't moved. I was gone by 5:00 and got home by 8:00PM.
