My youngest thought she would try to play a joke on Mommy last night with her fake gel blood from Halloween. She walks into the kitchen slowly with "blood" all over her fingertips and ankle (where she has the TINIEST scrape that couldn't possibly bleed that much even if you had a bleeding disorder). The only problem was that she had the BIGGEST SMILE ON HER FACE! And as soon as my eyes met hers she started giggling too! Totally cracked me up! And we are still finding it funny today. Girl needs some prank practice!!! Lol!

I don't know how I would have reacted because my kid is so tough. On Thanksgiving she was looking through my mothers rock collection while everyone finished eating and she picked up a crystal chunk said in a flat nonchalant tone "Oh, this one is sharp." set it aside and continued to root through the rocks. A few minutes later I saw something red all over the box and knee-jerk though was 'How did she get cranberry all over the box?!' .... then I remembered her plate was taken up. Sure enough she was steadily bleeding all over the place and we didn't realize it because she didn't comment or complain. I could totally see her bleeding profusely and smiling still.

We are pretty happy with our Christmas tree this year. This is the first year we are using a real tree instead of the old fiber optic one.

Question: is there a problem with chicken thieves? We have a problem here. Mostly game and Phoenix cocks. But hens/pullets and chicks. This time fence cut and gate left open. It is hard enough protecting from predictors, people is unforgivable. Do I need to figure in to my budget higher level of security? I am given my worry a boy my move over to a higher power.

Selling my home, enough to buy a home, make the move, and set it up with whatever is needed. You always have unexpected stuff. A safe coop and pen, I am a summing atrial attacks as well has ground. Everybody loves chicken, and some love the eggs.

Only chicken theives here are racoons, possums, owls,hawks,and the like. most country areas have little crime. Most suberbs and small towns have little crime. Do you have any idea what area your thinking of north or south? Pam

X2 Pam. I have never even heard of chicken thief. Just the predators Pam mentioned. I would add dogs to the list. They take as many chickens as the wild predators. Need a very secure coop, but not human secure.
