Merry Christmas everyone!

Question of the day is: How do you explain to a 5 year old that the sonic screwdriver is not broken just because it won't work on the national geographic computer he got? He doesn't believe that it could be deadlocked. Also, no firing the rocket in the house. We hid the gifts the kids were sure they were getting in the fireplace and left everything else under the tree. The kids think the ones in the fireplace fell out of Santa's bag when he was trying to get in. Those of you with the reindeer treats...don't tell my kids, I already feel like I have lost my head this time of year. I did all the cooking last night and now that everyone has opened their gifts and ate they are napping.

Even my serama girls were in a giving mood! I got my first ever eggs from my young pullets! All 3 decided to lay their first eggs today!

Congratulations on your eggs, I know a person how stock piles them then makes deviled eggs for football night. She said she tried quail eggs, to hard, they are so small.

Beautiful bird, beautiful eggs. My granddaughter went to sleep at 11:00 and was up at 1:00. Yes, 2 hours sleep. She would wake me periodically then go watch cartoons. I gave up at 4:00 and made coffee. My daughter was up at 5:30. I went to pick up my mom at my house at about 6:30. (She opted out of sleeping at my daughter's, can't imagine why, lol). I am so tired, delerious, that I can't sleep. I wonder if this is like babies that fight sleep and cry before they fall asleep bec they are so tired? Wauwau. :)
