My hubby gets payed the same amount at the end of the month regardless so he's pretty happy with every day off. lol. Bringing warm water around a couple of times a day and such isn't that bad of a price to pay for us.

Same with me. Salaried employee. :/

I read to put extra apple cider vinegar in their water to help keep from freezing. Ya'll ever try that and have it help?? Cause I put it in there every day already.

She has not laid another egg yet. I looked at her this morning and couldn't feel or see an egg.
The choice is yours. If you know what egg she lays you can let her back out and keep a good watch on her and for that egg. If you notice any problems bring her back in. She can't infect the others with anything, we just want to make sure that she can pass the next one without a problem. The cold coming can halt eggs for a short time too.

Hahahaha @ kiddie pool....I can see it now a loose kiddie pool zooming around the streets at 100mph that shot down a lil hill of awesomeness and an echoing laugh trailing lol

Oh, yeah, Kuntrygirl, don't do this in a wooded area or down a street with telephone poles. I learned this the hard way and lived to tell about it. OUCH! And, Angel's 100 miles an hour is about right. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. There is very little control in the best of sleds. Lol

I went out and got everything ready before it got colder and darker. I put ACV in the waterers, a little more than usual, so we'll see. I did notice that in summer the waterers didn't get green or moldy if they had ACV in them. Remember guys NO ACV in metal waterers.
All the hens now lay in Primrose's dog kennel. I guess they have decided it is the best nest. Silly me buying all those other best boxes. They just wait turns. Prim really seems to love her dog kennel. Here's a fot

Oh, no!! I tore my ACL. That was years ago. They just went in and cleaned it up. I sure have missed that ligament. No safe lateral motion. Went from racket ball and tennis to bicycling. I hope they can repair your tear and not just remove it. Bless you.
