I just got some Orpington chicks from the Swap Meet at Tractor Supply, there are lavenders and the others are black? or laced? or what?
they said black but look like a cross between buff and black to me?

No idea but they are so cute!

Your Mom is one wise women!!! We should all be so lucky to live that long and have a great attitude!! I feel 30 in my mind! Wish the body would listen to my brain. Lol

I have black astrolorps , probably spelled that wrong. But to the point as chicks they were the same color as your Orpingtons. As they. Feather out they will be black. In the order I'm waiting on I have black/ blue splash Orpingtons . So don't worry a lot of chicks are different colors than they turn out when older. Pam
