Cute chicks! A squirrel flinging bird feeder? Be sure & get a video for us!
Now I'm hearing it's supposed to sleet tonight.
I bet we go straight from this into 100-degrees-in-the-shade summer weather. And you won't hear me complain one bit!

We've been on squirrel watch sense we hung it yesterday. Can't wait to see it in action. Shouldn't be too much longer it's in a place we haven't had a feeder. I definitely plan on video.

sorry to hear about your friend, sux. I'm glad he gets to go home with his loved ones and have company. At this point, its often harder on the survivors. Many people feel death is close and come to terms with it before their loved ones do, therefore being able to relish in better thoughts with the time left. Laugh at the jokes, scold naughtyness and cry in front of them only if they do!
You're amazing helping, making it possible for him even to see a concert in the hospital dealing with docs. <3

Thanks. He doesn't have any family, but he has friends. With the help of a life long friend that I also went to school with, I am hoping we can organize ourselves for him.

I want one of mine to go broody soo bad.

How big do bantams get? I bought that one with the Wyandottes the Wyandottes are almost full grown. The bantam grew a little then stopped she has long legs for her size which is small. She looks like a large chic . She is a really sweet bird. Ron thinks she might take care of the chicks I may see how she takes to the after the mobile vet. Sees the dogs for their yearly exams.

Well, I bumped my order of chickens up a little today. I ordered from Meyer. I'm getting 2 Male ea of Delaware, and White Rock and 5 ea Female. I cancelled the 8 frypan special that a had added to fill it out and ordered 6 pullet Golden Comet. This way I'll start getting eggs a lot sooner. It put off my schedule a wk to March 27. That's ok and I feel a lot better about it.
