That's hilarious! I'll have to try it with an old bar from the swing set I have.
 
The more I learn about chickens and chicken keeping, the more I learn that I will never learn enough. I hope I never have to give up keeping them!

So sorry the hear about the death of the swollen leg chick. We all love to cheer on the little ones.
I love call ducks and yours are beautiful Mztre. The first ones I ever saw were at the LSU poultry show last November. I said "what is that sound ?" Someone said it was call ducks. I went to see and they were the sweetest prettiest little ducks. I fell in love.
Angel, did you get your buck back?? Want me to go over with you??

Sorry been slammed with work of all kinds today and limited service :th hard to catch up :) thank you so much everyone.

I did ODB my buck back! He won't be leaving again, girls can come to him. But it did work out! I went over today and collected him. I was nice. She was nice. Said he escaped her breeding pen and they penned him up safely before night fall. O.o He was ok, I was paranoid mama ready to go on a recovery mission :lau :( he has a little ear nick and some pee stains :/ but he will clean up just fine. I'm sure all men are a lil worse for wear after an extended weekend with 6 ladies :gig

. If you doing me a cop see you probably find that it has water sack around the heart, died of congestive heart failure, and that it's liver is enlarged and is yellowish or fatty. They are not long living, it is the side affect of being fast growing. The same broad breasted turkey, they can not reproduces naturally and die young. You get lots of meat fast for a smaller investment. But you give up richer flavor of the meat.
