"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I AM NPIP CERTIFIED! All chickens tested and cleared! Apparently she was the lady in charge of all NPIP reports/workers in Louisiana...
Such a nice gal. Was very helpful and informative... passed on a few tips, asked a ton of questions and acted happy to test all of mine since I had never done it before. Though she did tell me... the disease should and would pass to all chickens quite quickly, so testing like people's main Rooster and a few hens should be good enough. But the size I plan on keeping fulltime (25) she tested them all and told me for the eggs I sell to the public/pals, all hens involved and the Roos I keep in the future i should have tested...
Apparently the disease affects their laying fertilization capabilities. So cool...
Now the chicks I started selling this year, she recommended I have all tested since I could correctly state with proof that all possible parents have been individually tested and certified NPIP approved.
For those who haven't done it yet, only age 4 months and older can be tested.

And YES, I left them in the coop and caught each one for her... only took a quick prick and blood absorption and they were free... to stay mad at me ALL day long! LOL
But a very nice experience...

Congratulations!

Morning La-yers! asking for good thoughts today -- just dropped off both of my beloved puppies (they'll be 10 this year but to us will always be our puppies) both have surgery today - Winnie has a tumour in her back & Mal has a big warty growth on his face. My Mom (82) has a Dr apt this morning - she had a weak spell and her blood pressure dropped drastically yesterday, and Jim has a Dr apt also - more tests to see if he's over his C-Diff or not.

I'm at work - which sometimes is my pool of sanity. Like today. I'm fixing to empty my supply cabinets & do inventory on them. Trying to keep my mind occupied until all of my loved ones are safe back at home.

The testing is free! Contact information is below if anyone is interested.

FYI. I had to by a cord for my laptop. To replace my cord hp wanted 60 bucks plus tax and shipping . My cord has to pieces. So after getting told they weren't in stock and going from co. to co. I was given the number to Trademoon.com. They had my part it stock it was 8 dollars no shipping or tax. I couldn't believe it . So 2 days later I get my cord it's the wrong half of the cord and it's my fault that I got the wrong cord. So I called them and told them what happened so I could order the rite cord. It cost 40 bucks again no shipping or tax now here's the above and beyond part they deducted the cord I didn't need and was my fault I got the wrong one. So if you need parts etc. use this co. Their price was lower than other company's my cord arrived two days after I ordered it. Told me to keep the part I didn't need and deducted the price of that cord from the one I need. I don't know about you but I haven't had customer service like that in a very long time. Pam

Thank you all SO much - you have NO idea how much I appreciate you guys. Ya'll are the best! Vet just called & the pups made it through w/no problems & I can leave at 3 & go get them. My Mom was dehydrated -- good thing to remember for all of us w/summer coming - the older you get the more you need to stay hydrated - her Dr told her he wanted both of them to stop every hour & take a few sips of water or whatever. Now to just hear from Jim.
