Lol heh heh heh....not a good day here unless you've bled :gig we work hard lol here on this thread is one of the only places others know our pains. And sometimes when things go smoothly (sawzall/turkey carver ) we must try more stuff....:lau so quick 2 seconds later after switching blades we were chopping up and down crap around the yard :gig stopped at chainlink downed fence...no thanks, not fun anymore, that's why the fence is still wrapped around everything since Gustav lol. But we got a great fire pile going and cleared some huge trunks and branches!

Im soooo tired. Got home at 4am. Up at 5am. Back to bed til 7am. Chickens were P.O'd! Whoops.

Now I am up, with a to do list 16 miles long and No ummph, no get up n go, Nada, nothing, my butt is stuck in this chair. Coffee number 3 better work! :th

I have this mound next to rabbitry. It's not going anywhere and drops off the back of the mound pretty steep. The vines/weeds are relentless here :(

I also have a pile of spent rabbit hay. We burn it, chop n compost, cover crops but still have loads of it. Can I "mulch" this mound deep and keep from having to weed whack it every other day? Or would it be like feeding them? Lol

I know what you mean! I'm nursing my coffee and stuck to the computer screen, when I have a TON of things to get done. I have several hours of paperwork/computer work to do. I'd rather be outside working today! I'll have stalls and coop (lite clean) to do later.

I got another of my mares back from the breeding farm the other day. Glad she's back, but one more stall to clean. UGGHHH!! I'm up to 10 mares. Eight of them are my "regulars" and two recipient mares that are carrying embryo transfers. My husband will go tomorrow morning to go pick me up one more recipient mare. I'll be up to 11 mares!!!

This will be a new record for me. Not sure how I feel about it. I just keep thinking about all the babies I'll have next year.
 
Just stopped running errands & now going to enjoy the rest of my "day off". Tomorrow will be cooking for Easter dinner. Rained too hard to plant the garden so everything's still in limbo. Jim's not having a good day & is taking a nap - hope he feels better when he wakes up -- going on six weeks of this -- he sees a specialist next week so maybe we can get some answers....
