My Easter Egger is not feeling good.  Poor girl.  She is one of my heavier hens so I hope she has enough energy to get through this.  I think its an egg issue.  We gave her some quick absorbing vitamins and water.  We snuggled her up in one of the nest boxes so she will be warmer tonight.  She wouldn't eat anything so there was no point in trying that.

Hoping she will eat something in the morning.

What kind of egg issue? Is she bound?

Do you think you are going to ever get enough chickens, we are both chicken nuts. I hope you get a good hatch from them.

Is there a such thing as enough chickens lol. Still have a few breeds I want

Great egg color!

How well do i know, this guy is the one i got my first 20 chicks from, which by the way are getting ready to start laying, i now have 78 chicks and chickens, the best i can figure, i have at least 20 EEs ,Americaunas i have 5 for sure one of which is a roo( breeding stock) the rest i rescued from a bad situation, some are missing toes, toe nails and one only has one wing but they are all doing great, one that is pincled or silver laced. I have done really well learning chicken math.

You are wanting to use your new bator and I'm wanting to build a bigger one lol the one I'm using now only holds 50. But I have been known to stack a couple extra on top in case of duds

i still have that big ice chest if you want it, come by tomorrow and get it. It looks like it may hold more than a 100

This one holds 20 but it has auto turner all automated. I can't wait to use it.

What kind did you get? Twenty is enough. Maybe that's the best way. Chicken math can be devastating

Just caught up...skimmed fast and furious! 26 pages!!!!!! WOW>>>>>

Lemon, how's your EE? What's going on with her?
Terri, How are the new keets doing? Love the training info!! I hope to one day (next house) get guineas.
Pam, What kind of incubator? You might of said before, but I'm brain dead! lol... I love the idea of hatching eggs. I hope to one day have that experience. I think I need to wait a while though. Let "everything" settle down for a while. Works been crazy busy...I'm sure you can relate.

We are off to the beach tomorrow. We ended up settling on Perdido Key, Fl. So, everyone can thank me for the rain and cool front. I think it will likely rain when we are there. As long as there isn't lightning, it won't slow us down. Will be home Sunday. My husband is SO NOT EXCITED...lol...he'll survive.
