I was looking at chicks at Petrus for grandkids 4H today, I checked the listing for the Ameracaunas and it is spelled the right way, they still have some on hand, and others also, didn't notice any Australorps though, did see some production reds, RIRs, wyandots,RSLs and speckled sussex thoughThat's my 2nd loss both the australorps something has a taste for them. Or they keep getting caught away from the flock. I've had dog attacks but we saved them. They weren't my dogs. As a group everyone's had one or two except you and primrose.
I'm glad it's not my rare birds, knock on wood. I've had my hens locked up to see if the other one is laying. And to keep the one that just started laying from mating with a rooster other than the legbar.
Thanks for the offer but I like the breed and will get chicks in spring it no one has juveniles. Pam
