That one is 50x50 and now has 8 12x12 attached lol
I got a bunch of pens and brooders thats how

I will get a few updated pics.
As far as mice I dont knoe anyway to keep them out, you just have to keep control of them. I live out in the woods , so theres always going to be that to deal with.

As far as the snakes I dont generally keep the netting around my pens anymore mainly because just about everything out there is too big for a snake to mess with. I kill a few every year but not really that big of an issue

This is our quail flight pen

That's great!! Mike, what is that you have on top the pen?? Is it some kind of shade cloth??? I've been looking for something besides a tarp to put on top of mine and have found nothing at Wal-Mart or Home Depot!!

On the flight pen is a custom fitted shade cloth. Cost about $250 but is supposed to last 15 years or better so not really a bad deal.

Thanks everyone and yea I love it. My wife wanted pea fowl and I just wanted the extra room so I made something big enough to accomadate what ever ended up being put in there lol. All my pens have auto waters and am working towards all auto feeders

And just so all know I own a construction company so I build all my own

VERY nice setup Mike. I love it !!!! If I could build something like that, I would put in about 12 hrs a day but being as though I can't, I can dream about building something like that.

Nothing too much going on over here. It wasn't as hot as it usually it which is a good thing . I spent an hour or so going to get some free bricks that one of my Craigslist buddies gave me. They will be used for the pond for the ducks and the geese. I am HOPING

that this pond will be completed in the next couple of weeks. I'm anxious to see the ducks and geesee get in there and swim. I have so many unfinished projects that I really need to finish. I hope by the end of the summer, everything that needs to be painted IS painted.

4th of July will be here soon. Anyone has anything planned?

I have about 8 Reeves I think. I'm pretty sure I saw another 3 or 4 pipping besides the 2 already out.I have some ringnecks due soon, and a couple dozen melanistics cooking.I had a few Red Goldens and Yellow Goldens in there, but I dont think I'm getting anything out of those. They should have been hatching about now too.

I believe I totaled 7 hatched. One is kinda iffy.He has some gunk I need to try to wash off him.In hatching, his fluids started to crisp up and stuck the shell and sack to him.I had to help some, but there was no bleeding or anything, and he seemed to be moving around pretty well... Keep ya fingers crossed.

I think thats the last of them. Now I think I just have some ringnecks from the May swap left in the bator and a couple dozen melanistics.
