"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

She sent me 24 eggs (I had asked for 18) - not one broken! Large to Extra-large. I have the 'bator fired up & here we go! They completely filled up my little 'bator! They were clean, too. The markings on them are the dates they were laid & breed. I am so happy to see my bator rocking away in the foyer! :yiipchick
Great! I looked at her birds they are super nice. I may get eggs from you down the road for my layer flock! I must say your excitement is good to hear. Hope you have a great hatch. Pam

I think so. I had an olive-egger that was a Cuckoo Marans hen crossed with a Wheaton Ameracauna rooster. Really nice color - you could put a red dot on one end & it looked just like a big 'ol olive (Jim did that once).

:yuckyuck should have glued a tooth pick too. I bet that was funny. My grandmother loved crafts she would remove the egg out of a small hole then paint a head on it they were really nice. Pam

Yay! Are you going to breed them? Let me know how it goes, I'm definitely interested in getting some next time. How much were they?
You can't buy these. They are owned by Pilgrims Pride. I just heard that when they culling was to be done some would escape. I was notified that they would be doing it. And I took my giant fish net to get them. Ha. Actually I didn't do it. Marla did it for me. Once they escape they can't put them back in the house. But I got you on my list.

Good idea.

Anyone like chimera? I think they are super cool. http://wikigag.com/chimeras-another-wonder-of-nature/
This is totally amazing. Glad to see that you posted it.

You are more than welcome to some. Everything looked good at lunch time, temps are stabilized, had to add a little water but I'm very slow & careful to get that where I want it -- it's a whole lot easier to add a little at a time than have to take it back out!
