So how do you make them gentle? All mine are but it's the temperment of the breeds. I do handle them a good bit but now I have over 50 birds. I may down size a little. Pam

Yes ma'am they need to be handled a lot when they're young. You'll see them start to get skidish, I didn't worry about the pullets but I kept the ones I cared about the most handled and I feed them a lot from my hand

Great ! Thats funny too they aren't skiddish at all none of the other breeds either. I was thinking I better spend some time everyday holding etc. to keep them that way. Pam
 
Hey, y'all! I hope everyone is doing well. I can't catch up because it was over 100 pages of reading, haha. We are great on this end. Kids are good, chickens are good, and I'm on the couch with my yarn and tea while my husband plays video games on the other couch.
