"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Thanks Pam! One group I posted in was just for SS. I have a guy from Texas coming next week for chicks. What doesn't sell I'll just grow out a bit and sell later. It's all going to work out. :) I just hate to waste the eggs. Maybe I'll try the BYC hatching eggs thread? NPIP was on my list of stuff to do, and definitely now.

Good for you. It's coming.

Murphys Law has struck again. Just when I need to be healthy, I came down with a wretched virus. I had to cancel taking the babies to Jennifer yesterday. Hope i'm well enough for the surgery Tuesday. Ha!!! It sure got them used to the chickens in a hurry.

Time for my Princess Bailey to go back to her grown up friends!!! She had been so long suffering! And I can't believe she was just letting them sit on her back like that. And they always squeeze into that corner even though they have a large space. Goofy!

Hey Cody, post the ones you know you will have to cull on some of those FB groups with description and photo, someone will want him and you can make a $ or 2 instead of have be his demise. The cuter the chick the better, you have hundreds of chick people around you up there, I know, a lot of them are customers of mine, FaceBook me and I will add you to my local group and you can post there. (Elcamino everything poultry and livestock)
Ok, thank you Topdog. I'll consider doing it. I really don't post on the book or use it. I spend enough time here and on another forum not related to chickens.

We processed all the roos today. Everything went quite well. A few got a little torn up in the plucker before I got the scald right.
Funniest thing, when we were done I let the Bielefelder chicks have access to the coop for the first time. They didn't go back in the brooder. The set up camp on the roosts. So I moved their food and water'er and they're spending the night in the big bird coop.

Yep, sure is Cody. The babies are 8 weeks old now and apparently think she is a cushion, Lol. I went ahead and moved her. Her comb has been red again for awhile and my daughter says she will be laying soon by the feel of her stomach. She can go relax and have some big girl time now, Lol.
