Just home like always. Looking forward to meeting TD later this afternoon. Hoping to get my hands on some pdz today, otherwise I'm going to have to clean out all the litter and try again. Ammonia smell is getting strong. I threw some scratch in yesterday so they'd stir everything up, but I don't think it helped.

Chicks are doing well. Growing, no issues. Eggs are.. doing stuff, I hope. I have 50 eggs in my bator for the Easter HAL.

Wildflowers are sprouting. Berry plants are doing stuff. Gotta get the porch cleaned and start working on my big brooder before the hatch.

We're going to LC tonight; husband has a board meeting, so I'm meeting another mom with a little and we're going to have a picnic.

Never saw anything like that. Maybe some kind of beetle? Email these pics to the LSU Ag extension - your local office if you know it -- they'll ID it for you. I've done that before w/a caterpillar I found eating my citrus tree.

Asian longhorn beetle????? If so it is an invasive, nasty bug!

No, it's not that. It's antennae aren't striped, and it's more of a rusty brown than black. And the stripes are more banded. Phew!
