This is the rose bush I wanted to move but never did. I'll try again next year.

My boy has chicken feed stashed all over the house. It's been a LONG time since we fed pellets.

The lovely new perfume DH brought home for me.

I love your hoop coop and am interested in building one. Did you use plans of any sort? What type of fiberglass panel is large enough to replace the tarp? I guess I didn't realize panels were available that long (I realize you would have to use overlapping panels for the length...)
used the basic hoop coop plan but i made my own more heavy duty as i was building and touched up some of the things i seen as problems when building...panels come in 16 plus feet..you have to use the 85 percent light penetrable fiberglass panels...they are 30 inches wide and you just bend them over...easy to secure you just rip a 2x4 in half and then place one on one side and the panel on the opposite and then screw down and bend as you go...you wont be able to use the metal panels they will kink...they are about 3.50 per foot....hope this helps...going to change a couple of things on the next one...making the second one bigger then the first....

NEW ADDITION TO THE FARM...SVART HONAS...

The black hairdo, lol. So cute!

How are your Ayam Cemani doing? Did you end up with boys and girls so you can breed them? How are they turning out? I have seen some discussions that sometimes a few chicks have faults, like toes that aren't completely black. And they just work on it June any other breed working away from the less desirable traits. I think they are a super neat bird!
