Last week I butchered some excess cockerels my sister gave me. One of them had this glass in it's gizzard.

Wow they do like shiny things. Like the new avatar. I had a sucky day. Something got my black rooster. I was going to move them tomorrow to the new coop it has netting on top. Of all the breeds I have with extra roosters for it had to be the one I only hatched one roo. from. Now the Hens are almost laying age. Going to see if I can buy more eggs. Pam

This was early morning. The trap we set was triggered but nothing caught. we reset it tonight. we never find any tracks of anything.They are locked down tonight. Pam

Just an update, our last hatch started with 84 eggs, 2 incubators, we ended up with a total of 22 of the 84., Oh well, we were chcicken poor to start with, i had to treat my main layer flock with tylan 100 for sneezing, runny eyes, only the lead roo was bad, so i have been boiling about 20+ eggs a day and feeding them back to the flock, we will be doing this for 10 days.

Number 36 is out! I'm not really expecting any more to hatch, but I'll leave the bator running a few more days just in case. Today is Day 23.
