"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

One thing I will change about those baskets........ I won't use the longer narrow ones that had square holes on the sides. I had one baby get it's wing through and couldn't figure out how to get it back through. But that couldn't happen with the bigger baskets that had the slightly smaller round holes.

I am going to line it with a paper towel hope fully keep wings in etc. and incubator cleaner. Lots of pips just the one early hatcher.
Unlike Cody not to log on yet. Pam

Hey Ya'll,

I just got back from the LA. Ag/poultry dept. It's in Homer. Only a 30 minute drive from me! How lucky am I

I met Linzi Poole, the state doctor was out today so Linzi did the necropsy. AI test came back clean so that's good news.

They took some swabs, should have the results in a few days if there is anything that will show up. Other than that there was no telltale visual signs to go by. The heart was quite large but it could have been from it being chilled/cooled in the fridge.

Thank you Lemon and Pam for the help with this. I'll let ya'll know if anything comes up in the tests.

I didn't realize the cemani was the black breed. Just googed it. Would be interesting eating. You could sell it to specialty restaurants and Asian medicine man.

Once I have a big enough flock for myself I would. I have the barbeziaux and the Bresse. I think a French restaurant would go for them too. Someone I bought from in the past sells his excess eggs to a chef. I want to taste the other two before selling them. Pam
