"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I hope they get better soon. I know how frustrating it is when you aren't sure what is wrong and nothing you try works.
He was walking much better by the time I got home. Gave him some vitamins mixed with water by dropper last night and this morning. Have water and food in his cage with him so it is available when he wants it.

Hang in there, chickens are pretty tough. I'm finding that out with the one that survived the dogs Sunday.

Thank you. Yeah I agree they are very resilient. Hopefully they can kick this little respiratory thing soon. They seem to have a "cold".
Also, one of my slw seems to be gasping for air every now and then and sometimes seems to sneeze. They seem to have a runny nose as well. I've been giving tylan 50 for 4 days now and the rooster's runny nose is better but the hens are still lethargic. They are eating and drinking so I guess that's a good thing. Anyone else have a clue what this could be? Thanks

Gasping for air isn't a good sign. I would add vit.,probiotics, and electrolights. It sounds like respertory issue. You can get vetrx at your feed store it's for respertory problems. I would continue the antibiotics. The sooner the better. Do you see improvement? Reading your post makes me think it's getting worse. Pam

Just candled my eggs it's been nine days. Out of 36 eggs 3 were a no go. One not fertile, one hairline crack, the other was clear. The rest are alive hope the all hatch. Camping all my Svart Honas are alive all are fertil too. Pam

Is it normal for them to look like this when they are growing all of their feathers in??
