I have a birchen cochin hen at the moment. I'm looking into getting some black frizzle chicks to go with her. I also saw some blacks for sale on Facebook. They are about a month old

Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with Coyote Creek chicken feed and if yes what is your opinion of it.

You get a smaller bag. It's ground finer in my opinion that makes more waste. It has corn an I think soy. If your looking to save money and have space call scratch & peck tell them you want a pallet price for your farm. I saved a good bit doing it that way. That was before gas went down shipping may be less now . Pam

I'm getting rather frustrated with my wyandotte pullet. She can start laying any day now. I would really appreciate it.

Just FYI, my BLRW girls were 31 weeks before they started to lay. It was a long wait, but well worth it. Out of 5 hens I'm getting 3-5 eggs daily even now.
