No, it's the black coppers - I had a feeling that's what they were. Gorgeous! Do you know, that's one breed I have tried several times to raise & failed every single time. Maybe next time I get back into chickens I'll have better success.

I haven't had any problems raising them. I have Bev Davis's line and Green fire farms lines. All the eggs have been in the color range of the eggs I posted.. I am selling a few breeds. I just have too many to keep up with on my own. I'm keeping these Marans tho. Pam

Looks like you have a soft shell egg. It happenes sometimes when a poulet starts laying.
