I use Nature's Best Organic Egg Layer Pellets. It's $25 for a 40lb bag. Not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive either. Mine just started laying in late June but my RIR has only had 4 off days since 6/20! She's been a laying machine. My Barred Rock that's laying has been similar.
