"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Ive had a few. If its a chick i will just go ahead & cull after a week. But 9/10 they never make it past day 2-3 on there own. Ive also had a couple of 3 wk olds get it, and when i found it literally the next day or two they will be dead in corner of broodee box.

my only exception to not culling is the cross Beak. Shes surviving on her own, eats & drinks with ease be of how i built my troughs. Its gotten way worse, but she shovels food in still. When her quality of life goes down tho i will put her down.

My july 4 chickies hatched from under big momma growing out nicely!

They look like a colorful group! I've had 2 broodies hatch chicks this year and they were pretty much failures: one hen raised 2 chicks and the second raised one chick.
Holler if you need more eggs!

Hello everyone,
posting here and the buy section/mississippi thread since im on the border. I’m searching for a salmon faverolles roo/cockerel, at least 5 months old in the southeast la/south ms area. I lost the one I was raising and i love the temperament of the breed so was hoping to find another one. Thank you
