I spent 1 afternoon last week reroofing one end of my coop's nest box, I still gotta redo the north end. The stinkers are laying in the file cabinet under the old coop right now. I have one laying almost daily and some one laid a green egg yesterday. I hope they all get their laying butts in gear soon, people are whining for eggs.

I do have enough wire to enclose & roof a 20x20 area if any of yall are interested also.

I bought the poultry netting, the nylon net kind, it was a real pain to put up but I have been happy with it. I think the metal chicken wire like you have might be easier to put up?
I work by myself and the netting had me yelling at it a few times. I didn't realize how hard it would be to get sticks/branch bits & leaves off it. I also had a hen fly up on top of it and that was a real pain in the everything to get her untangled and out of it.

Would any of y'all be interested in buying lambs for bottle feeding? These would be triplet babies about a week old, Katahdin or Katahdin/dorper crosses.

Uncleaned?? that's funny! (I looked at your ad) Let us know how it goes and how the demand is. I was thinking about hatching eggs today, but I have to find and assess the ancient incubator. Zachary Feed is s'posed to get their 1st group of chicks on March 1.
