Well, I woke up at 4:00AM but I dared myself to take one step out of that bed. Well, that didn't work.

Well, yes it did. I just got up and walked around and went back to bed. I woke up at 6:00 AM and opened the coops. Peaked at the garden and saw the it was time to pick the corn. The only problem is that I didn't think the corn would grow. It was an experiment and it worked. I only planted a couple rows that were not long at all. Well, I ended up with 25 ears of corn so far. Now I don't know what to do with them. Who was it that had a bunch of corn that they picked? What did you do with it? Is there anything special that I need to do when freezing it or otherwise.

How perfectly awful! those poor kids -- our condolences to your family Twiley. No big deal w/the birds; they aren't going anywhere. Just give me 24 hours notice so I can cage them - have to catch them at night since I'm free ranging during the day now.

Why is it on holidays when we theretically could sleep in, we wake up sooner than on normal days?

Thank you for the advice. I will do this this morning.

I don't know why we wake up early when we can sleep in. I guess we figure that we can make up for an extra day and get a few extra things done?

My vacation is in 2 weeks and I'm hoping to sleep late but knowing me, I will be hitting the ground running, looking for freebies, antique stores, painting etc. WOW! Now that I said that, I'm not looking forward to my vacation. I"ll be wore out.

I"m better off going to work.

How are the peas Terri? Any new sounds?
