Well, I can see both sides as far as NOT keeping him and keeping him. If you keep him, you will always know where he is and he won't be able to attack again but I agree with you, who wants to keep a chicken killing dog.
The rest are fine, they are just on high alert, they are all huddled up near the house & they are to startled to be "herded" back into their pen. I'm just happy that it wasn't one of my hens! The hen pen is much more fortified than the roosters tractor.
