It would be a real shame if they failed due to poor planning. If the food was good, I'd complain a little to let them know that things did 't go very well but then try them again in a month or so to see if they've ironed out the problems. And I wrote down every thing you just said.

As soon as my processer can get here, he will start on the extra males. If I were brave like you all, I could do it by myself, but I can't but I need help getting started.

My only fear is that the first "blow" won't be quite right or I will get it halfway and then I will have to do it again. I won't be able to see them suffer like that if I don't get it right the first time.

With the new hatch on last week, it's equivalent to losing 10 lbs in 1 week and then splurging on burgers, pizza, ice cream and cake on the weekend and gaining those 10 lbs right back.

That's funny! You're just too successful WITHOUT AN INCUBATOR! Incubator companies will want to HUSH you because you'd damage their sales.

I hate to say it but yesterday was the first time I had even seen the SLW
In a couple of weeks. Been having to get the wife and kids to feed and water
Everything for me.
I turned everything out of the big brooder I have and let them in the yard. The SLW
Followed me around the yard as well as 3 of the turkeys. The other 2 turkeys found out
That they could fly so it took a while to round them up.
I haven't decided yet if I am keeping the SLW or not. If not I will let you know.

Def keep me in mind...lol..... I'd like to add to my SLW flock and my Buff flock.But I'm kinda picky on my buffs.I only pick up Golden hens.I just don't like the yellow buffs.I have a couple that came up a lil lighter than I'd like,but still way darker than most of the yellers around here.

Peking muscovey duck,braised duck,duck noodle souple.........lol...
