You know Harry I wouldn't even complain about the rain at all if it didn't make the run such a mucky mess. I was slip slidding all over the place today!! <sigh> just lucky my butt didn't land in it!!

So Missi, with the shade cloth, I it doesn't let any sun in to dry up the water? Is that how it works?

I will not say it doesn't let any sun in, more a dappled sun. It's worked okay so far because we get a bunch of rain at one time and then none for a few... It had enough time to dry up. But it's rained everyday for a week or so. LONG soaking rains!! My yard is looking like a jungle!!

Oh ok.

I love when it rains but I hate what my chicken yard looks like after it has rained. The customer and his family that bought the ducks had on their shoe covers that I provided for them for my biosecurity for my flock as they picked out their ducks. Well the boot covers were all muddy and yucky from the rain, so it was a good thing that they had on shoe covers. The husband and wife wore flip flops and those adorable little girls had on their rain boots. My boots were covered with mud. Gotta love what the rain does.

Oh you bet your bottom dollar. That's them. They are no longer cute and sure NOT little anymore.

They are a Menace To Society. They run in a pack and are relentless. If you see them sprinting your way, I suggest you run for your life cause it ain't gonna be pretty. I just get the camera ready to see who is about to be tortured. MY GOSH!

Yea, I need to clean my mud boots, hate when they've been sitting there for awhile. Won't stick my toes in there!! I just had on my clogs today. It wasn't pretty!!

HOLY crap they grow fast!! My goodness that amazing!! Yea I probably would run never having been around them before!!
