Good morning everyone. I hope that everyone had a good night's rest. My vacation offically begins to day. I'm on my way to the feed store this morning and hope to return to enjoy the rest of the day after I cut the grass.

Terri, sorry to hear about all of the trouble that you are having over there. I hope that things get better.

The only thing I caught in my traps was some fire ants. IDK, maybe I'm using the wrong brand of tuna or something.....

Good morning everyone! We went to visit the in-laws in Carencro yesterday and didn't get in until late. As I walked outside to feed the dogs, I heard something by the fence. It was a giant opossum loaded with little babies

I baited the trap, but got nothing this morning

Luckily they always seem more interested in our trash than getting after our city chickens. I'm going to have to try some smellier bait tonight and see if it works!

I decided to keep 5 hens and a roo, but I listed everything else for sale on New Orleans craigslist if anyone is interested. The listing is headed "Chickens and Turkeys".

Well Gracie, I found me some ewe lambs for $100 apiece, but they are half katadhin half black hawaiian. He said they were black with a white head. All I'm wanting is pets and something to keep the pasture mowed so I think we may go look at them wed or thurs.
