On my post, #4003, when I mentioned secondary infection, that's what i was talking about. I shoulda mentioned the word "Wet Pox". Sorry. There is a BIG difference. That's why I wasn't worried when New2TheCoop explained what was going on and I saw the pics. People get into a BIG FRENZY when they see Dry Pox. Sure, it's a concern but the biggest concerns are the secondary infections.

You will enjoy the liners. I love it because the ducklings can be so messy, so when they are playing in the water in the raised coops, the water drips through it and there isn't a mess.

His mouth and throat was so full of the wet pox he couldn't eat or drink and was having a hard time breathing. I watched him for a while but when I saw how bad he was suffering, I just put him out of his misery. Like I said, you will know wet pox when you see them, they are nasty.

I didn't let him suffer, my turkeys were my favorite bird out of the hundreds I had. I miss them and the sheep the most.
