So sorry to hear about Nola. I wish that I could help but I don't have any experience with Goose illnesses. None of mine have ever been sick. I hope she is ok soon.

Found a vet in Mandeville that will look at her. He specializes in parrots, but its the best I can find that is close enough for me to get to. 10:30 cant get here quick enough.

UPDATE ON PETER RABBIT:

Well yesterday as I am heading home from work, my phone rings. I answer the phone and the lady on the other line says that her husband had caught my rabbit and they had it. I was like, "THANK GOODNESS"!

She said that her husband went out to feed his rabbits and my rabbit was right by the cage. He slowly walked up to my rabbit and caught him. Everyone in the neighborhood knew that my rabbit was out, so they all were trying to catch him when they saw him. Even the little kids were trying to catch him. I think everyone had rabbit food and water out for him in case he went to their yard. So, he was definitely eating. I had no idea everyone was feeding him.

So, I told her that as soon as I got home, I would come over and get him. She asked if I wanted to sell him because her husband was interested in buying him. She said that his fur was so soft and shiny and that he was a very healthy rabbit and looked like that he has been well cared for. I laughed and thanked them and said that he wasn't for sale BUT if he gets out again, they can HAVE him.

So, when I got home, I went to their house and got him. He was just as calm as can be. He wasn't even trying to get away. I had a LONG talk with him and he promised not to do it again. We'll see.

So Peter is back.

Sorry your goose isn't doing better yet here's a recipe you might try for her to eat on sounds mighty nutritious and should give her a little more spring in her step.

Ill add 2 things to the post on the eggs make sure their boiled and just use warm water to soften the feed it doesnt have to be boiling hot. Not trying to be bossy just sensible, lol

Turns out Nola had a heart problem. I have no idea how that translates into crooked neck and eating like a pig and then eat nothing at all, but there you go. He said her heart was irregular and her blood vessels were leaking fluid into her abdomen. Nola is now in goose heaven
