WooHoo!! Mine have been laying for about 8 months and I still get a thrill every time I gather the eggs

Doesn't take much to make me happy!

I know what you both mean. I get all excited to see who layed what today, how many, any newbies, etc. Fun!!

I have another reason to be excited! My TSC is opening Saturday at 8am!!!! I can't wait..I'll be the first one in line

I find our TSC here is a little high on feed prices - get most of mine at Bayou Roberts co-op which is a stone's throw from home, but I sure found the BEST rain slicker there at Christmas time! - on sale too! They do have a big selection of "stuff" that's fun to wander around & browse!
Which I'm not doing right now----must*resist*chicks!

I'm planning on firing up my bator in a few days but it was be so nice to go pick some up there. Instant gratification

Anyone know anything about a plucker? We have several roosters we need to process.
